Hi, I’m Alexander Lohn. I founded Alessandro & Maria Design in 2019 with the desire to create meaningful, lasting furniture and home goods by hand.

What I bring to the table.

  1. Skills in design from an architecture degree from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln

  2. Time as a FRanciscan Friar which brough a deep simplicity to my life I hope to bring into everything I do.

  3. I’m a graduate of the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine one of the most prestigious furniture schools in the country.

  4. I’ve worked at some of the greatest furniture studios in the country, notably Nakashima Woodworker.

Today, my focus is on creating one-of-a-kind furniture that reflects both lifelong quality and timeless design.
