How does it work to have a custom work done?
Process
Consultation
We’ll have a phone call or meeting to discuss your dream. You’ll want to gather as much information as you can such as dimensions, wood species, finish, style, inspiration photos, etc.
Design
If we have enough to move forward I will work on and present a series of hand drawn design proposals. The design phase has a fee that will be discussed ahead of time based on the size of the project. For a free-standing piece of furniture you can expect a design fee of approximately $750.
Production
Once we have a design locked in a 50% deposit is made to begin production. The design fee is rolled into the deposit. Material will be ordered and production will begin, with progress photos. The remainder of the cost is paid at completion.
